Crispy Baked Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

    Buffalo
  • 1 head of cauliflower (approx. 4 cups of florets)
  • ½ cup Soy/Cashew milk
  • 1/2 cup Spicy Cashew Cheeze
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter
  • 1 cup Frank's Red Hot sauce
  • Sweet BBQ
  • 1 head of cauliflower (approx. 4 cups of florets)
  • ½ cup Soy/Cashew milk
  • 3/4 cup Smoky Cashew Cheeze, divided
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground pepper
  • 1 C plant based BBQ Sauce

Instructions

    Buffalo
  1. Line baking sheet(s) with parchment paper and grease lightly with oil or cooking spray. Preheat your oven to 425°.
  2. Wash and cut cauliflower head into bite sized pieces/florets.
  3. Mix the milk/Heidi Ho Spicy Chia Cheeze/water/flour and spices in a medium mixing bowl. Mix until the batter is thick and is able to coat the cauliflower without dripping.
  4. Throw your cauliflower into your mixing bowl with the batter and stir to coat the florets. If your mixing bowl is small you can coat your cauliflower in smaller batches.
  5. Once coated, arrange your cauliflower in a single layer on your baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, flipping the florets over half way through to get all sides nice and crispy.
  7. While the cauliflower is baking, get your buffalo wing sauce ready. In a small saucepan on low heat melt vegan butter and mix in Franks Red Hot sauce. Remove from the heat just as it starts to melt. Stir together and set aside.
  8. Once the cauliflower is done baking the first time, remove them from the oven and put all the baked florets into a mixing bowl with the buffalo sauce and toss to coat evenly. Return cauliflower to baking sheet and bake in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
  9. Serve with plant based ranch or your favorite dipping sauce!
