There’s a about a week left of holiday parties before we all settle down and resolve to, well, stop partying. And while many of your hosts and hostesses will be happy with just your presence, how lovely to show up with a small token of your appreciation. This is a simple and elegant host or hostess gift you can make at home. Rosemary infused salt is great for the foodie in your life, but also just looks great on a kitchen counter, AND takes that tofu to the next level. You might just want to keep one for yourself!
- 1 LB Coarse sea salt
- 10 Sprigs Fresh rosemary
- Glass jar with lid
- Ribbon (optional)
- A cute gift tag (also optional, but, c’mon)
Combine sea salt and rosemary sprigs in a large pan and heat on medium low for about 15 minutes. Be sure to save a couple sprigs for the completed containers. Discard the rosemary and pour salt into individual containers. Careful, that salt is hot! Wrap with a bow and cute gift tag. Now go to your party.
